First Time In Its Seven Year History, The Event Will Feature In Person and Online Offerings for Attendees
The Greater Nashville Technology Council (NTC) is excited to announce Hilary Mason as the keynote speaker of the 2020 Analytics Summit. Mason is the Data Scientist in Residence at leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm Accel Partners. The 2020 Analytics Summit is Nashville’s premiere conference on leveraging big data and analytics in a two-day hybrid event featuring virtual and in-person presentations, workshops, and networking on September 21-22, 2020.
“The 2020 Analytics Summit’s Planning Committee is thrilled to welcome Hilary to speak at the Summit,” said Dan George, Founder & CEO of Piper Key and Chair of this year’s Summit Planning Committee. “Her insights and passion will certainly inspire Summit attendees to be better data-driven leaders in their organizations.”
Mason will draw from her experience to speak about the challenges and the rewards of working with big data combined with machine learning. From 2009 to 2013, she served as Chief Scientist for bitly, the popular link-shortening service, where she continues to work as Scientist Emeritus. As CEO and Founder of Fast Forward Labs, Mason’s work, which synthesized the latest breakthroughs in big data from a wide range of fields, gave her a uniquely broad understanding of the field. Hilary Mason was General Manager of machine learning at Cloudera, Inc. for two years after it acquired Fast Forward Labs in 2017.
For the first time in its seven-year history, the 2020 Analytics Summit will be a hybrid event - held both in-person at the Omni Hotel Nashville and online. The NTC and Summit’s Planning Committee are innovating around the constraints of the COVID19 pandemic to provide two days of speakers, workshops, and networking that attendees can engage in however they’re most comfortable.
